Destination Wedding Planning Tips

1. Proper Planning Time - Destination Weddings are usually planned as early as 18 months in advanced. Dates at Resorts fill up quickly. Once you know a date, contact us as soon as possible so that we can lock in that date for you.

2. Support System - It is important that you enlist a travel agent to contact the wedding departments and initiate blocking your date. Our services are complimentary. We do not charge a fee to setup a destination wedding.

3. Send Out Save The Date Cards - As soon as you have locked in your travel and wedding dates, send out the "save the date cards" so that your guest we begin making payments on your block of rooms we have set up for you.

4. Location & Cost - It is important to factor in cost and travel time for your guest.  They will need passports, airport transfers and etc. 

5. Check it out -  Take at least one planning trip to scout and secure your key venues -- ceremony and reception spaces, hotels for guests, a rehearsal dinner venue -- and local suppliers such as caterers, florists and photographers 

6. Communication - We will setup a registration page for your wedding guest to register for your destination wedding. You will be able to keep track of who has actually registered for your big day.

8. Marriage Requirements - It's very important to check the laws of the country you are planning to marry in before booking your wedding. Each country has its own requirements.
